Position Description
The University of South Florida, Department of Neurosurgery, is recruiting for an APRN / PA for a newly established practice in Brooksville, FL. This position will be responsible for: (1) independent outpatient clinics for pre-op and post-op care, (2) inpatient rounding, preparing patients for discharge, and various inpatient procedures; and (3) acts as First Assistant in neurosurgical operative cases (training/certification can be provided).
This position requires:
- Licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant in the State of Florida
- Acute Care or Adult Gerontology Acute Care board certification for APRN (AGACNP) or National Certification for Physician Assistant
- Three to five years of experience in critical care, OR, or neurosurgery is required
